Skip to Step 4. If Step 4 did not work. Go to Settings > System > About > Go down to Android TV OS build.

Click Android TV OS Build seven (7) times. This will enable "Developer Mode". (This allows you to download from unknown sources.)

Scroll down until you see "Developer Options". Make sure "Enable Developer Options" is turned ON.

Download the Downloader app, Go back to your device settings. (If this does not work follow steps 1-3.)

After you go to your device settings click "Privacy". Scroll down to "security and restrictions". Click "security and restrictions" , then click "unknown sources". This should bring you to the "Install Unknown" apps page. Scroll down to the downloader app and make sure it is allowed/turned ON Under "Privacy" go to "App Permissions". Under "App Permissions" scroll down to "Storage". Make sure "Storage Permissions" is turned on for the Downloader App.
Step 6: Open the Downloader app. Under "HOME" type in the URL https://soplay.en.softonic.com

Click "Go" or "Enter". It will download the app and ask if you want to install. Click "Install".
*On Google Chromecast Ultra you may have to view all apps to see So Player icon. To view all apps, from the home page go down to your apps, scroll all the way to the right until "See All" appears. You should see the So Player app.
Installing SoPlayer on an Android DEVICE
STEP 1: Open Google Play and search for "SoPlay"
STEP 2: Download and Install the application.
Done! Now you are ready to activate SoPlayer.
Installing SoPlayer on an Apple Device
STEP 1: Open the App Store and search for "SoPlayer".
STEP 2: Download and Install the application.
Perfect! Now you are ready to activate SoPlayer.
Activating SoPlayer
Use 836 for the "PROVIDER ID" or "PID".
Once you have successfully installed SoPlayer you may proceed to activate your device using your Username and Password. This is provided in your subscription email.
unInstalling SoPlayer on an Amazon Fire Stick

Then proceed to highlight and open APPLICATIONS.
STEP 1: Go to SETTINGS
Scroll to the very bottom and launch MANAGE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS.
Locate the application you wish to uninstall. Highlight the app and on your Amazon Fire TV's remote press the center key or "OK".
Proceed to confirm the uninstallation.
Click uninstall.
